Family Coast Support

Professionally guiding you through the NDIS maze with continuing support and services afterwards.

Our Story

Family Coast Support is a Community organisation. We opened a Community Program Centre in Berkeley Vale in December 2016. Since then, Family Coast Support has provided access & support to Children and Adults eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across the Central Coast, Hunter, and Sydney Regions of NSW.

At Family Coast Support we value the role of family as an integral pillar in the lives of the people we support, which is why our supports are designed to target individuals interests while building and maintaining a sense of family and community.

Our aim is to achieve an outcome where the people who use our services have access to the community and other services that help them achieve their goals and lead a life with quality and purpose.

Our Program

If you and your child or adult are eligible for the Family Coast Support program, the workers will meet with you to discuss your family’s and child’s needs. You and your Family Coast Support worker will work together to develop a support plan that identifies strategies, services and a support plan that identifies goals that are tailored to your loved one’s unique circumstances and objectives for themselves. The supports and services you and your Family Coast Support workers agree upon will be detailed in a Family Coast Support agreement.

Your Family Coast Support worker will review and discuss your family’s or individual's support needs on an ongoing basis and assist you with co-ordinating services. Services are provided by individuals selected and employed by Family Coast Support. Community Support Workers receive ongoing training from Family Coast Support and must have a minimum of Certificate III in Disabilities to be employed.
